Venus is selective and associated with aesthetics and the arts. Venus switches into active mode when we become aware of the need to diet and exercise to maintain the body. It also is evident in social interaction and relationships.

In her asleep state, Venus can be lazy, sluggish, vain and preoccupied with appearance. She appears to be passive and inert, unable to make changes and positive steps forward. Imagine a large, chocolate eating woman spending her days watching TV and lying on the sofa.

In her waking state, Venus is aware of art and has critical judgement and an innate sense of style and beauty. She is selective and enjoys good food and wine. She interacts socially with charm and ease.

In her awake state, Venus becomes the healer, with total awareness of harmony and balance between the mind, body and spirit. She has power to achieve with ease and grace and the perfect harmony of colour shape and form can be seen in the greatest works of art, which have the ability to uplift the spirit. Interesting that most great artists are men!
